Our Story
Hi, my name is Andrew
I started Heart Soul and Mind at the end of 2023 after having a conversation with my dad. We were talking about advancements in AI (artificial intelligence) art and what that means for artist. I thought to myself “I don’t care about any of that stuff. What I care about is the heart and soul of the artist.” With that idea in mind I set out with a vision to gather a community of like minded christian creators.
As the journey began, God started to shape and direct the mission of Heart Soul and Mind, and He still is. God put it on my heart that this community would be more than my work, it would be my ministry. Heart Soul and Mind would be one of the ways I would help others draw closer to Him.
I reached out to some of my closest friends, asking for support in both prayers and creations. I was met with overwhelming support and enthusiasm.
Our journey may just be beginning, but we are excited to see what God has in store, and to connection with others.
Core Values
We have eight core values which are at the heart of Heart Soul and Mind. They are listed in alphabetical order because we see them all as being equally important; just in different ways and at different times.
Community
God Himself is community, and He has created mankind to be in community as well.
Creativity
When we encounter God, our imaginations are left full of creative ways to express what we think and feel.
Goodness
God is good! When the Holy Spirit is in us, one of the fruits is goodness.
Growth
God is unchanging, but he is always active. He is constantly causing us to grow in heart, mind, and soul.
Harmony
Not only do we strive to live at peace with others, but we strive for peace within ourselves.
Reverence
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. God is almighty and He deserves respect.
Thoughtfulness
Balancing skill, feelings, and intention, we are never mindless or half-hearted with our creations.
Truth
We believe in absolute truth. We don’t believe in relativism. Truth is at the core of all we create. We seek the one who is the way, the truth, and the life.
